Student opportunities and activities
At St Ives Park Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights

Student Leadership
Building quality team and leadership skills, there are many opportunities for students to lead and advocate for themselves and others. At SIPPS we have a school, sport and Student Representative Council (SRC) leadership teams.

Creative and performing arts
Fostering creative thinking and allowing students to express themselves, our drama, music and art programs give opportunities for all our students to shine.

Dance
Students have the opportunity to join our dance group, performing at school and the Sydney North Dance Festival each year.

Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Choir
Expressing themselves through song, our choir groups have opportunities to perform at school, community and competition level.

Eco club
Our green fingered students participate in weekly Eco club sessions. Planting, harvesting and supporting student led initiatives such as 'Waste Free Wednesday'.

Band
Students have the opportunity to join either the junior or senior bands.
