Extension and enrichment for HPGE students
There are a range of opportunities for HPGE students to thrive at St Ives Park Public School. At St Ives Park Public School we provide activities and programs that go beyond the standard classroom curriculum to enhance a student's learning and development. These oppotunities include:

Extra-curricular activities on site
Further opportunities for HPGE students to develop their skills are provided on site at St Ives Park Public School. These programs are offered on site by external providers outside school hours to engage students and offer further opportunities for their development. These oppotunities include:

High Potential and Gifted Education
Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are provided with a range of in class enrichment and extension opportunities to build their potential in the St Ives Park Public School setting. All staff participate in annual training in HPGE teaching and learning strategies. Expert trained staff are identified as our HPGE contact teachers and some staff have previously taught in OC class settings. Staff representatives participate in the annual Northern Sydney cross-network professional learning conferences.

Creative Arts
Creative and critical thinking skills are expertly taught by trained and specialist staff, to engage students and develop skills for a range of performances at school and in professional performance spaces.

Sound and lighting desk
Students develop skills cumulatively working to facilitate sounds and lighting for school assemblies and performances.

Games in the Gazebo and Games Trolley
Students have opportunities to lead programs across the school and provide support for their peers. These opportunities build social-emotional skills for students with strengths in this domain. Leadership opportunities are a focus for students in the social and emotional domain including SRC, Buddies programs.
