Playgroups

The importance of a positive transition to school is well-recognised. It is one of the most significant events in the lives of young children and their families. It is important for each child's wellbeing and ongoing educational and social success. Transition to school provides an ideal opportunity to connect with families and support them to become active participants in their child's learning.

Our Playgroup is designed to foster early social learning skills in a nurturing setting. You will meet other parents and children who are starting school the following year. Running each school term, this program gently introduces your child to the school environment, helping them build confidence, make new friends and become familiar with routines, classrooms and staff.

Parents or cares stay with their child during Playgroup and younger siblings are welcome.

Kindergarten Orientation

Our Kindergarten Orientation Program is designed to help our youngest learners feel confident, excited and ready to begin their school journey. Through engaging activities, play-based learning and opportunities to explore, children build friendships and ease into the transition to school. This supportive program ensures a positive start for both children and families as they take their first steps into school life.

As part of the program, we also host a Parent Information Session, providing families with valuable insights into school routines, expectations, and ways to support their child’s transition to Kindergarten.

Together, this program ensures a positive and supportive start for every child and their family.
